A Note From Our Founder

Hello! I’m Jana O’Neill, and I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 20 years—spending the last decade specializing in lashes and brows.

Over time, I realized there’s a major gap in mentorship and quality lash education in the St. Louis metro and Southern Illinois areas. After the pandemic, I saw so many talented lash artists leave the industry—and that truly broke my heart.

In 2024, I reached out to my longtime lash brand, Bella Lash, and proudly became an educator with them. In 2025, I became a licensed Illinois CE Sponsor Educator and launched Escape Lash Academy right inside my own salon and spa.

This business has given me so much—flexibility, fulfillment, and the ability to be a wife, mother, and entrepreneur on my own terms. Now, I’m passionate about helping the next generation of lash artists build successful, sustainable careers doing what they love.
